Visiting home again, autumn 2019
A view of Carlingford Lough in Northern Ireland where I hail from. This is such a familiar scene and yet I have taken hundreds of photographs over the years.
This photo captures the beauty of the area, where the Mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea. The mountains are covered in beautiful forests. The seashore offers many textures of stones and seaweed.
I am drawn to the majesty of the Mountains. Here is the view from behind a friend’s cottage, who lives within walking distance. The purple and the haze are mesmerising.
